LANC Operation

The LANC (Local Access Network Control) allows full electronic controls on Sony, Canon and other camcorders which feature an LANC jack.

With the AQV LANC controls, you may operate the Pause/Record toggle, Zoom in and Zoom Out functions and the Power On/Power Off control.

The LANC is controlled by sliding spring-loaded rods (pictured at left) ether forward or backward to trigger internal magnetic switches inside the housing. Again, no penetrations, no leaks! The rod return to center automatically and are easily removed for maintenance and cleaning.

The AQV LANC system is by far the cleanest and easiest electronic control system available today. Oversized rod switches are located under the right handgrip and easily operated while wearing oversized dive gloves.
